【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistanceofnonporouspapertothepassageofair.Thistestmethodcannotbeusedinthosecaseswherethepapercannotbeclampedsecurelyagainstsurfaceandedgeleakage,suchas,crepeorcorrugatedpapers.Thistestmethodisapplicabletopapersthatpermitthepassageofupto25mLofair/0.785in.in15s,andingeneral,topapersnotsufficientlyporoustobetestedbyTAPPImethodsT460andT536.Note1-Fortestingpourousandsemiporouspaper,refertoTAPPIT460,andT536,respectively.Sincethethreemethods(D726,T460,andT536)donotgivethesameresults,itisrecommendedthataspecificmethodbeagreeduponinspecificationscoveringpaperbetweenthesellerandthepurchaser,andthatthemethodbechosentoconformtotheprinciplerange.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
